A photo walk turns an ordinary stroll into a game of observation. You don't need a professional camera: your phone is enough. The idea is to slow down and discover together the little details you would normally miss.

Pick a safe route, preferably during the day, and agree on a theme to guide your photos.

Pick a challenge

  • Five colors you find along the way.
  • Interesting doors, windows, and facades.
  • Small signs of kindness in the city.
  • Reflections, shadows, and curious shapes.
  • Three photos that represent your relationship.

During the walk

Take turns choosing the direction, and stop whenever something catches your eye. Avoid photographing identifiable people without their permission, and respect areas where photography is not allowed.

At the end, sit down in a square or park, and each of you picks your three favorite photos and explains why.

Keep the memory

Create a shared album with the date and the name of the place. One of the images can become your phone wallpaper or go along with a loving message the next day.

The value of the date lies in the story you build while looking at the same city with curiosity.
